Kasol is the base camp for a number of breathtaking and beginner-friendly short hikes, most popular of which, is the Kheerganga hike that starts from the neighbouring village of Kalga.

The trek to Kheerganga is an easy, yet time consuming one. With that said, the trail is dotted with awe-inspiring sights and strategically located Maggie Points. The hike will take you through lush forests and hidden waterfalls.
The true surprise, however, is waiting at the end, a natural hot spring that offers 360-degree views of the valley. A Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Kheerganga hot spring is the perfect end to a tiring hike in the hills. Take a dip, lay back in the warm water, and simply soak in the beautiful views.
